QUESTIONS

  1. Analyse the story in your own words
  2. Sequence the story from beginning to end
  3. Predict what will have happened if Raphael didn’t find the wallet, and explain why
  4. Create a ending for the story

1.Analyse the story in your own words

The story begins with the narrator introducing himself. His name is Raphael and is a dumpsite boy. He defines what a dumpsite boy is and what he does for a living. Each chapter has a different character writing there part, each chapter matches up like pieces of puzzles and at the end the picture becomes clear and the mystery will be solved. That’s exactly what it’s like in the story. The three boys risk their risk lives to solve a mystery about a guy named Jose Angelico, who died recently in a police investigation and is all over articles. They get closer and closer to the answer, hoping there will be a big reward, bigger than the one policies offered.

2.Sequence the story from beginning to end

The story starts with Raphael Introducing himself, Behala, his family and his best friend Gardo. Gardo then carries on the story starting with another chapter, The chapters keep going in that order until another character comes in.
The police gets involved in the story and things becomes dangerous, it all started with a wallet Raphael found in a pile of rubbish.
In the next few chapters a boy named Rat, also known as Jun Jun enters the story.
The three, Raphael, Gardo and Rat are on a mission, a mission to solve a mystery of a crime. They are at the risks of their lives but keep going. Each chapter has a clue which becomes closer to the answer.

3.Predict what will have happened if Raphael didn’t find the wallet, and explain why
Things would have been very different, and they wouldn’t be in such danger.  If Raphael didn’t find the wallet, the three boys would’ve just done what they do everyday, being a dumpsite boy, but it’s different and he found the wallet. They’re three wanted boys wandering around in the city, tight on money and on a mission the polices want to find so badly. But instead of living in Behala and being a dumpsite boy their whole lives, it’s the time they get to have adventure, wander around and have fun. Although they are on the edge of a cliff they get to experience something outside of picking through trash every single day.

5.Create a ending for the story

Raphael, Gardo and Rat are on a mission, they succeed and without getting catched by the police they find the answer. The answer will lead them to something that will give them a surprise, it won’t be a thousand dollars nor a million, but maybe something relating to Jose Angelico, maybe a family member, maybe the secret of the case of Mr. Vice President. But no matter what the answer leads to, they will end up safe and sound, not having to worry about the police’s and enjoy the rest of their lives.

Artistic Adventurer- Week 5

Optimistic Loving Innocent Valuable Involved Amiable I wrote an acrostic poem about Sister Olivia as she has an important role in the story by helping Gardo visit Gabriel Olondriz. She is optimistic because she believes things will work, even though it's realistically not likely. She is loving to Jun Jun/Rat and shows it to him by giving him food and money. She is innocent by believing that Gabriel Olondriz is Gardos grandfather. She is valuable because she has wealthy parents and authority to go places. She came to Behala to relax but got involved in a water sanitation project and a volunteer teacher. She is amiable because she is naturally kind a and generous
