Raphael Fernandez is a poor boy who works at a dump site alongside with his best friend Gardo. He lives with his aunt, two cousins, and half sister in a house made out of trash in Behala. They rely on the trash they find to make money. Raphael has many struggles in life every day such as poverty, not enough food, no proper shelter, or having no education. The families like Raphael’s also have similar struggles in life. Many families in Behala suffer from hunger and they try to find food and shelter to survive. Millions of people in real life live homeless and starving. They eat food from rubbish bins and will sleep anywhere to survive.

She is the daughter of the man who was killed by the police, Jose Angelico, and her mother, Maria Angelico, who has also passed away.
