Title of Book: Trash
Author of Book: Andy Mulligan
Raphael is a small boy with a lot of strength. He has many struggles such as being poor, not having enough food, no proper shelter, and not getting an education. Raphael lives with his aunt and he is an important part of his family. He looks in the trash as a living, even though he is a child, he tries to support his family. Raphael faces challenges every day and his main goal for life is to get somewhere in life.
A quote said by the character: “A long time later I would think to myself: Everyone needs a key. With the right key, you can bust the door wide open. Because nobody’s going to open it for you.”
